Spirits of the Adirondacks
This large piece is carved from Hemlock Root that was collected from Raquette Lake many years ago. It depicts Eagles, Hawks, and a Goose emerging from the base of the root. It is protected with several coats of rubbing polyurethane, and set on a cherry base supported with a marbleized wooden column.

Atlantic Salmon

This piece shows two half size Atlantic Salmon arriving on their spawning ground.
Both fish are carved from solid walnut and have custom glass eyes they are highlighted with iridescent acrylic paint and then coated with a gloss polyurethane. The base is hemlock root carved, painted to look like a pebbled stream bottom.
